    Description

Dimethyl ether is an organic compound, which is a colorless and odorous flammable gas in the standard state, and the chemical formula is C2H6O.

Mixing with air can form explosive mixtures, which are flammable and explode when exposed to heat, sparks, flames or oxidants. Peroxide can be formed in contact with air or under light conditions, which is denser than air and can spread to a considerable distance at a low level, and will catch fire and backfire when exposed to an ignition source. In case of high heat, the internal pressure of the container increases, and there is a risk of cracking and explosion.
